Stephen Gosnell jumps to the No. 1 spot based on his probable availability and how good he could be in the CFL. Gosnell has been terrific in practice at Buffalo Bills training camp and has recorded 3 receptions for 44 yards in the preseason. The only downside is that if he is released by the Bills, he will likely catch on with another NFL team. However, having Gosnell at No. 1 shows just how highly regarded he is as a potential future CFL prospect.
The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to build depth at almost every position, and if you look at their wide receiver depth chart, you will find former BYU standout and rookie Raiders receiver Chase Roberts. Roberts has played sparingly during the preseason, and it remains unclear whether the Raiders will use a practice roster spot on him. He recorded 12 yards on one reception in the preseason opener.
Another Buffalo Bills receiver trying to find a roster spot is Quintin Skinner, who was added to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers negotiation list after being released by the New York Jets in early June before signing with Buffalo almost a month later. Skinner, whom we have ranked very highly, remains a high ceiling talent. The Blue Bombers could certainly lose a big bodied receiver in the second half of the 2026 season if Skinner becomes available and Winnipeg is able to bring him north.
One of the biggest surprises on the list is No. 5-ranked WR Michael Wortham, who is currently with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wortham has continued to make himself a player worth monitoring as NFL roster decisions approach, and his presence this high on our CFL board reflects the upside we believe he could have north of the border. the former Montana Grizzlies playmaker has 41 yards on 3 catches and has performed well on special teams with 3 returns for 64 yards. Wortham who is a small bodied wr is looking eerily similar to Chad Owens who coincidentally was a member of the Jaguars for two seasons but took another three years to come up north to the CFL and then became a two time Grey Cup champion and 2012 league MOP. Wortham is also a former QB turned WR that does not belong to any CFL negotiation list.
Ricky White III who is still with Seattle is once again attempting to make the roster which will be difficult because of the crowded room not because lack of talent. The former UNLV star receiver has massive CFL upside who I believe can play all 4 receiver spots but the slot is where he may be more dangerous with his speed and catch radius.
Lastly rounding out the top 10 is Washington receiver Nick Nash who I have making a NFL roster in ’26 but if he comes available every CFL team should be recruiting him north. The former QB turned WR is big bodied can run after the catch and has above average football inteligence.
